Arts and Crafts You Can Do with Paper
January 30, 2024

These projects are entertaining, adorable, and require only glue and paper to make, so they’re great if you need something to do while you’re stuck at home alone. There is no need to go purchasing; simply get started producing.

Making things is therapy, and the world is a bizarre place today. Make anything to occupy your hands and distract you from your troubles. Many of these arts and crafts projects would be excellent for children as well as teenagers.

The following are arts and crafts projects that you can undertake with paper:

Rolled Flowers Made with Paper

You can cut these out by hand. Then you may adorn a signed card, gift tag, wreath, or anything else with them in a variety of amusing ways. Simply cut a circular piece of paper to any size you’d like, and then draw a spiral pattern. Cut along the line you made and roll the string of paper around a pencil or your finger. When you get to the middle of your string, set it down and use it as the base of the flower. Use glue at the bottom to put it all together, and that’s it. You have your flower!

A paper snowflake

All you need for hours of pleasure is some plain computer paper or a stack of coffee filters, along with a pair of scissors. This is one of my favorite winter activities. Keep folding your paper in half until you get a small square of paper. Cut around the edges to make it circular, and then start cutting various patterns along the sides – tiny lines, half-circles, small cuts etc. Once unfolded, you should have a beautiful paper snowflake!

Folded Paper Bracelets

It’s clever to reuse your artwork by creating these folded paper bracelets. Make a custom bracelet using vintage paintings or even junk art. It’s a wonderful way to put to use all the priceless pieces of art that are piled high or nailed to the refrigerator. If you don’t have any extra artwork, don’t worry; craft paper in various colors works just as well. Simply cut up 18 strips of paper that are around 12cm long and 3cm wide. Connect the ends of your strips to form a shape of the letter L and secure with glue or tape. Now fold your strips over each other and keep folding to add layers to your bracelet. Include strips to add length as needed and tape the ends to finish your bracelet!

Corner bookmarks

These adorable corner bookmarks are so lovely. If you love reading books, these will surely come in handy. Choose a paper in your favorite color and cut it into a square shape. Fold it in half to make a triangle. Your triangle has two layers; take one layer of paper and fold the tip of your triangle towards the middle of the bottom line. Now it’s time to fold the bottom corners towards the tip of your triangle and align the edges. Now fold both corners and tuck them inside the triangle. You should be left with a corner bookmark ready for decorating!

Art and crafts projects, especially simple ones, can be enjoyed by the whole family. It is even more appealing when it is done with simple and easy-to-find materials such as paper.
